Suzanne Dean's ACTING career includes 30 years of stage work in the US & UK, as well as in film & television.  

Originally from Texas, she attended Hofstra University in New York. With a focus on Shakespeare & Classical performance, she continued her training with the British American Drama Academy/Oxford, Shakespeare & Company, The Will Geer Theatricum Botanicum, The Old Globe, and The Antaeus Company. She currently splits her time between San Francisco & Los Angeles.

Suzanne is a Founder/Co-Artistic Director of Little Fish Theatre and Co-Artistic Director of Shakespeare by the Sea - a non-profit arts organization dedicated to bringing professional Shakespeare productions to underserved communities in Los Angeles & Orange County.  

Favorite roles with Shakespeare by the Sea: Cleopatra in Antony & Cleopatra, Queen Elizabeth in Richard III, Olivia in Twelfth Night, Portia in Julius Caesar, Goneril in King Lear, Lady Capulet in R&J, Beatrice in Much Ado About Nothing, Kate in Taming of the Shrew, Mistress Page in The Merry Wives of Windsor, Bianca in Othello, Jacques in As You Like It and Prospero in The Tempest.  

Leading roles in other LA productions: Who's Afraid of Virginia Woolf, Betrayal, Hedda Gabler, Rapture, Blister, Burn, Private Lives, The Taming of the Shrew, The Lady’s Not For Burning, Blithe Spirit, Macbeth, Laundry & Bourbon, Les Parents Terrible, Hay Fever and Present Laughter. As a PRODUCER/ PRODUCTION MANAGER / ACCOUNTANT, Suzanne has over 30 years of experience working in Feature length and Short Films, Episodic Television, Commercials, Music Videos, Corporate Videos, Theatre, and Live Events.

Suzanne started her Media career with Four Square Productions on several of the cult classic Killer Tomatoes films and was part of the original TV production team at Stu Segall Productions responsible for the premiere seasons of Silk Stalkings and Renegade. Additionally, she has produced or coordinated over 150 commercials, industrials, music videos, features, and Made for TV movies.
